Ice Free uses a combination of plant extracts which are not harmful to wild birds or other wildlife to prevent water freezing.
This means that when other sources of water are frozen over, garden birds will still have access to fresh drinking water.
This product is effective to -4°C and will not prevent water freezing if temperatures drop below this. Prolonged low night time temperatures will make this product less effective as water temperatures don't rise in alignment with air temperature.
The product does not contain glycerol or glycol.
